ABOUT
DEFEND THE PRESS speaks out against violation of press freedom, interacts with world leaders and high-ranking authorities, and leads and consults on global measures. We take the initiative to guarantee that arrested and killed journalists find justice.
PURPOSE
DEFEND THE PRESS' purpose is to provide aid to journalists who have had their rights violated, and to ensure that the press can openly review and disseminate information safely.
The topic affects all Filipinos who have been deprived of information as a result of the attacks on journalists and media shutdown. Most importantly, it heavily affects those who deliver and provide information.
